Plans to return to Spain in 2020 to refresh my experience of the Alhambra and of Barcelona and to see how this would be reflected in new work were dashed by Covid and its impacts. Forced to stay home, I decided to work from the studies and work I had already made and from further ideas that arose from them. These paintings are the result.
